As a habit I take every opportunity to explore this planet. at the present I have visitied just over 30 countries and I have strong desire to travel more. As a regular sole traveller people always ask why you choose to travel alone, I think this is deeply related to why I travel and then the second comes as a natural progression.

Travel provides the best opportunity to experience tastes, sounds and visual sensations that you would otherwise not.
2. People
I have met so many people whom I would otherwise not have met. These people have enriched my life, they have taught me life lessons, they have opened my mind to new ideas and world views and have indeed shaped who I am today.
